TerraSonic2 is an acoustic duo known for their tribute show “The Acoustic Floyd Experience”, as well as delivering a high-energy, dynamic mix of Classic & Irish Rock, Pop, 80s hits, and Irish Folk covers. With a unique blend of tight vocal harmonies, shared lead and backing vocals, and improvised solos, the duo creates a lively atmosphere that captivates audiences of all kinds. Their performances are built around a carefully curated setlist of upbeat, feel-good tunes, balanced by slower, melodic moments to maintain an engaging flow throughout the show.

Lorcan (Vocals & Guitar)

Originally from Northern Ireland, Lorcan began playing guitar as a teenager and has since traveled the world, performing in America, the UK, China, Australia, and Europe. A graduate of BIMM Dublin with a Professional Music Diploma, he brings years of experience to TerraSonic2, having honed his skills as a solo artist and rock frontman. Known for his energetic stage presence and powerful vocals, Lorcan’s dynamic personality ensures that every TerraSonic2 performance is an unforgettable experience.

Matt (Vocals, Guitar & Arrangements)

Matt’s musical journey began in Germany at a young age, eventually leading him to study Jazz Performance at Ireland's Newpark Music Centre (now part of DCU), where he graduated with first-class honours. A versatile composer and multi-instrumentalist, Matt has worked across a variety of genres, from orchestral rock to contemporary jazz. He is known for his keen musical ear and exceptional musicianship, contributing lush vocal harmonies and stellar guitar arrangements to TerraSonic2’s performances.
In 2026, Matt was awarded funding through the Music Capital Scheme by Music Network Ireland to support his projects. His previous achievements include two acclaimed jazz albums, Expectations and The World Is Coming Together, and a prestigious “Best Instrumental/Jazz Song” award for his track "Take It Or Leave It." Matt’s recent work also includes his 2025 single and short film release, Panoramic Preview, a deeply personal project focused on connection and identity through music and visual storytelling.

The Acoustic Floyd Experience:

In addition to their duo work, TerraSonic2 also offers a unique tribute to one of rock’s most iconic bands with The Acoustic Floyd Experience. This stripped-back, acoustic interpretation of Pink Floyd's legendary catalog showcases the duo’s artistic range and deep appreciation for the band’s groundbreaking music. Utilizing just two acoustic guitars and a variety of effects pedals, the show delivers a fresh, intimate take on Floyd's timeless classics, from their early works to their later masterpieces.

The premiere of The Acoustic Floyd Experience took place in November 2025 at the award-winning Boyle's of Slane, and the show is now hitting the road, bringing the magic of Pink Floyd’s music to new audiences. With intricate harmonies, acoustic guitar artistry, and subtle percussion, The Acoustic Floyd Experience reimagines Pink Floyd's songs in a way that pays tribute to their legacy while offering fans a new, intimate experience of their iconic sound.
